Here are a couple of updates from the MyTardis community that the DDD working group may find of interest.
Firstly, we've developed a desktop application called MyData. Its job is to sit (primarily) on instrument control computers and feed user data to MyTardis. It's in beta, being used at a microscopy facility here at Monash University, and it's compatible with all major operating systems.

Secondly, I've put together a 2 minute demo video of some features of MyTardis, with a range of data types (including diffraction data) shown.

Early next year there'll be a significant enhancement to the self-service publication feature. This includes the ability for MyTardis to monitor the PDB and release chosen diffraction data automatically based on a PDB's status changing from HPUB (held for publication) to published. Once this is released and deployed at the Australian Synchrotron, I'll be sure to record a video and post details here.
I look forward to sharing with, and hearing news from this group in 2015.
Thanks,
Steve
