The IUCr has endorsed the Science International 2015 Accord on "Open Data in a Big Data World" and provided a detailed response to the short form of the Accord in which the position of crystallography is described.
Copies of the IUCr position paper are available at the IUCr web site: http://www.iucr.org/iucr/open-data
