CODATA-VAMAS meeting 30-31st May, ICSU, Paris

CODATA (www.codata.org) and VAMAS (www.vamas.org) have formed an interdisciplinary Working Group on the Description of Nanomaterials, in order to standardise a description system for materials on the nanoscale. This forum will collect input to that process from IUCr Commissions.

The questionnaires sent to the CODATA working group by all represented Institutions and Unions were compiled and a joined CODATA-VAMAS Workshop on the description of Nanomaterials took place the 30-31st May at the ICSU in Paris. You can find here what I presented on behalf of the IUCr to this meeting, and a just-after report.
