New EuXFEL revised Data policy, which is of considerable wide interest

Post by JRH » Wed Feb 14, 2024 9:47 am

Dear Colleagues,
I think the recent activities at the EuXFEL with respect to their newly revised Data policy are of considerable, wide, interest including to crystallographers. I write here within the perspective of a general interest in facility policies’ data strategy.

The relevant EuXFEL documents can be found at:

https://www.xfel.eu/sites/sites_custom/ ... 23_eng.pdf

https://www.xfel.eu/sites/sites_custom/ ... ft_eng.pdf

The EuXFEL is balancing opportunities and cost of raw data archiving, as well as ensuring reproducibility and giving access to historic measurements for new software to the best extent possible.
Best wishes,
John
