Photon and neutron research data policy framework released

Post by JRH » Tue May 26, 2020 7:04 am

Dear Colleagues,
Ten years after the Photon and Neutron data policy framework (PaNdata), the Photon and Neutron Open Science Cloud (PaNOSC) project, one of the European Open Science Cloud European Strategy Forum on Research Infrastructures (EOSC ESFRI) cluster projects, has released a new photon and neutron research data policy framework (https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.3826039). The new policy framework takes into account 10 years of experience applying the previous policy framework in the photon and neutron facilities as well as changes in data management. The policy applies the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) principles to research data policies. The policy has been prepared by the EOSC projects PaNOSC (https://panosc.eu) and the European Open Science Cloud Photon and Neutron Data Service (ExPaNDS) (https://expands.eu) together to ensure harmonisation of the updated data policies for the photon and neutron communities. The policy is applicable to all photon and neutron facilities and scientific research data in general.
Best wishes,
Dr Andy Götz
