IUCr Congress 2026: Crystallography in Open Science and its open educational resources

Dear Colleagues,
At the IUCr Calgary Congress we have a variety of events on Open Science including a Workshop and Microsymposia as well as in the poster sessions.
These are described in the current IUCr Newsletter by Simon Coles, Chair of CommDat and Loes Kroon Batenburg, Main Editor of IUCrData Raw Data Letters:

As a briefing paper for these and for stimulating discussions before, during and after the Congress, and more widely for those who cannot attend the Congress, I have a Feature Article just published in Acta Cryst A of this title:-
